Essaouira is known for its wind, colorful medina walls, and vibrant street life. But for me, it’s the cats that give the city its soul. Playful, watchful, sometimes shy — these street cats are everywhere, adding life and character to Morocco’s coastal gem.
Yet behind their charm lies a real struggle. Many live without steady food, medical care, or safe shelter. That’s why I created the Cats of Essaouira 2026 Calendar — not just as art, but as a mission to help support the cats who make this city unforgettable.
Every calendar sold helps fund food, vet care, and safe spaces for Essaouira’s cats. It’s my way of giving back to a community that has given me so much inspiration and joy.
This isn’t just about dates on a page — it’s about making sure these animals have a better tomorrow.

Creating this calendar was a journey of long afternoons with a camera in hand. I spent hours walking through the medina, capturing cats lounging on warm stones, hiding between fishing boats, or resting against Essaouira’s iconic blue doors.
